Passphrase generator
Random words are easy to remember and hard to guess. This page picks them with your browser's secure random generator. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored.
Strength
Using it well
- Five random words is a strong start for a password you type often, such as the one for your password manager or your laptop.
- Use a password manager for everything else, and let it generate long random passwords.
- Never reuse one and never use a phrase you have seen in a screenshot, even from this page. Generate your own.
- Turn on multi-factor authentication wherever you can. You can check a password's strength here.
